The cruise on a groomed blue run, on a wide piste, between the trees, with few people around you, typifies skiing in America. Gawp at the world going by from the Pendulum bar terrace or just share drinks at the excellent Vendetta bar. Check out Lancelot’s for early bird options or chill out in the excellent Amri Res, a true Austrian bar and restaurant by the fountain. The list is endless.
Walk, ski or bus over to the other part of Vail at Lionshead, where the other chairlift and gondola departs from (Eagle Bahn). Here you will find more shops, bars, cafes, ice rink and restaurants.
