Nearby, Aspen’s sister village, Snowmass, is 15 minutes away by free shuttle and arguably offers the largest choice of slope side hotel and condominium accommodation in the US, as well as being the largest ski area on the pass. It’s suitable for all levels, from beginners to die hard steep thrill seekers. With the extensive variety on offer one minute you are cruising down Sneaky’s on Snowmass, then lunching at the fabulous Cloud 9 restaurant on Aspen Highlands, hitting the bumps in Olympic Bowl and then the 48 degree slopes on Go Go Gully, down hilling on Memory Lane, drinking a beer or cocktail in the Nell, then rubbing shoulders maybe with Jack Nicholson or Don Johnson over a superb steak at Jimmy’s in Aspen town. Pretty much a perfect day in anyone’s ski diary!

For those who like lots of cruising runs as well as steeper and deeper challenges, then head for Aspen Highlands or Snowmass, on the same lift pass. Our favourite mountain in America, Snowmass boasts the highest vertical and no queues, with some outstanding accommodation experiences such as the Viceroy or the Westin or in one of our classy Catered Chalets. It’s just a winter sports enthusiast’s paradise. Aspen Highlands also offers some great cruising coupled with some rather steep runs, which all converge at the same place, so you can’t get lost. Hike the 45 mins into Highlands bowl for a one off powder experience.The variety and amount of terrain in Aspen will keep you happy for any length of trip.We have had people go and sample the area and just not return home!!
For anyone wanting catering, we do offer Catered Chalets for parties of 6 or more, with our superb private chefs, or following the successful launch of our “Pre-purchase dinner menus”, we can offer a select choice of restaurants to eat at. More reasons perhaps to visit Aspen..
We also recently visited Aspen and again sampled the friendliness, the quality & ambience. The snow conditions were unbelievable and outstanding. With over 10 ft of snow in the month we were there, records were broken. Checking in to our stunning suite at Aspen Square Condos and later into our superb room at the excellent Limelight, you just know you perhaps have found THE perfect resort. More so after a sumptuous meal at Jimmys which cost a reasonable £80 for 2, including wine! A quick shop at Boogies for those inexpensive designer jeans, sharing a till with Jennifer Anniston, just added to the trip.
